Major Responsibilities
- Under supervision, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, provide customer and technical support to the Wireless Team in assisting with the management of Parks Wireless devices which include but are not limited to smartphones, MiFi’s and tablets.
- Prepare, activate and set-up devices to be assigned to authorized Parks employees and provide tutorials as needed.
- Add new device inventory to our asset management database.
- Create Service Requests and Work Orders in our asset management system.
- Troubleshoot any mobile device issues with users who open service requests within ITT Helpdesk Portal.
- Assist in the upkeep of data regarding Parks mobile device inventory in our asset management system.
- Assist with Parks mobile device upgrade projects.
- Act as a Workspace One Mobile Device Management Administrator.
- Cancel/suspend mobile device services as needed.
- Create mobile device inventory reports as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.


Preferred Skills

1. Experience working in an administrative capacity. 2. Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. 3. Strong understanding of technical support experience. 4. Strong customer service experience. 5. Strong knowledge of Android and iOS applications. 6. Knowledge of Workspace One Mobile Device Management System.

Residency Requirement

Residency in New York City, Nassau, Orange, Rockland, Suffolk, Putnam, or Westchester counties required for employees with over two years of city service. New York City residency required within 90 days of hire for all other candidates.
