ORMD also contributes to City-tax levy savings for the City. The Bureau of Case Integrity & Eligibility Verification’s mission is to identify system enhancements to improve claiming and to avoid overpayments, as well as working with program areas to prevent potential errors by reviewing records of Cash Assistance and Medicaid Assistance Program (MAP) cases and analyzing their contents for material that might retroactively identify Federal and State obligations that had not previously been recognized.
The Office of Revenue Management and Development (ORMD) is recruiting one (1) Principal Administrative Associate III to function as the Unit Supervisor in the Medicaid Data Analysis Unit who will:
Supervise and guide a team of Principal Administrative Associate IIs (PAAIIs) involved in projects related to determining, reviewing, and analyzing Medicaid (MA) case records to identify retroactive obligations and to establish the effective date of reimbursement adjustments, based on case record entries and the date of changes or occurrences.
Oversee the projects managed by PAAIIs under your supervision, ensuring they review and provide documentation for Duplicate Client Identification Number (CIN) cases, determining which CIN should be disenrolled to improve the quality of clearance matches and prevent future duplicate CIN assignments.
Review files produced by the Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) for Medicaid (MA) recipients identified with multiple active Client Identification Numbers (CINs), with the goal of ending individuals' enrollment in multiple Medicaid Managed Care plans. Additionally, address Invalid Social Security Number files generated through Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) queries to assist in reducing fraud.
