Job Description

This vacancy has now expired.

This unit will work in collaboration with Property Management by providing support through the conversion process of The Trust. This unit will also work closely with various NYCHA departments to ensure the completion of all tasks related to the final conversion of the Trust properties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Assist Trust developments in reducing open and pending annual and interim recertification's in the Siebel System.
- Conduct various levels of resident outreach to ensure the submission of appropriate Trust related documentation.
- Update and maintain share point file trackers.
- Represent department at Trust conversion meetings.
- Travel to Trust developments throughout NYCHA’s portfolio.
- Respond to inquiries, conduct research, and offer support at the PACT management office.
- Prepare evaluation reports, analyze documents, and track programs concerning the resolution of tenancy related issues.
- Handle confidential information according to HUD and NYCHA standards.
- Perform special projects, ad-hoc analysis, and prepare relevant reports and presentations as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college; or

2. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization and four years of satisfactory full-time experience in housing management at a development or developments containing at least 150 apartments, performing any one or a combination of the following duties: interviewing applicants; determining eligibility; gathering and evaluating information to resolve complaints; collecting rents; and/or resolving tenant related problems; or

3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience as described in "1" or "2" above. Undergraduate college credit may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for one year of satisfactory full-time experience. However, all candidates must have a four-year high school diploma, or its educational equivalent
EXPERIENCE IN WHICH TASKS PERFORMED ARE PRIMARILY CLERICAL, SECRETARIAL, RECEPTIONIST, AND/OR ACCOUNTING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. EXPERIENCE THAT INCLUDES ONLY
INCIDENTAL CONTACT OR INTERACTION WITH TENANTS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.


Preferred Skills

- Intermediate Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and work skills. - Ability to navigate various online databases. - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. - Excellent detail-orientation and follow up skills. - Experience using and navigating Siebel, AS400, EIV o Excellent communication and organizational skills o Ability to monitor caseload and work independently. - Understanding of NYCHA and departmental policies and procedures, and overall operational structure
