The New York City Employees’ Retirement System seeks a Timekeeper to join the Human Resources & Administration division. The selected candidate will serve as an administrator responsible for CityTime processing, including enrollment of new employees and maintaining approval trees, facilitating presentations to new hires and providing guidance to employees with regards to all matters related to time management. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Process time and leave information for assigned departments
- Perform timekeeping and absence control functions
- Review employee lateness for stepping program and LWOP
- Create, Assign and Modify employee schedules in CityTime
- Track and file leaves of absence for employees including medical leaves and other leave types
- Respond to time and leave inquiries from employees
- Assist with special projects
Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
Knowledge of the Payroll Management System (PMS), the Citywide Human Resources Management System (CHRMS), CityTime (CT). - Timekeeping experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
