Under direct supervision, candidate will conduct all auto supply warehouse activities adhering to Agency’s Rules and Regulations. Duties include receive, load, unload, store, distribute, count, weigh, measure, pack, unpack and care for materials, supplies and equipment.

Other tasks will include:
Supervise all warehouse/ auto suply activities and warehouse personnel
Keeping warehouse/central auto supply and materials clean and orderly.
Prepares requisitions for stock replacement
Audit materials received against invoices and note breakage and discrepancies in quantity.
Performs field work by visiting, inspecting, instructing, and advising stores personnel at various locations on the storage, distribution, inventory control, etc., of materials, supplies and equipment.
Retrieve requested supplies from shelves to fill requisitions when necessary including bottled water requests and office supplies.
Deliver equipment and supplies to repair shops.
May be required to independently lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 pounds. Perform other related duties and incidental clerical work.
Operate the forklifts to perform loading and unloading of material, supplies and equipment.
Use the integral (M5)Fleet software to document and bin inventory. Conduct annual physical inventory count for various fleet services inventory locations.

SUPERVISOR OF STOCK WORKERS - 12202

Two years of full-time satisfactory experience performing storekeeping activities, at least one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Preference will be given to candidate who possess: A driver’s license valid in the state of New York. This license must be maintained for the duration of employment in this title. Experienced in stock room for automotive parts. Computer literate. Able to perform the physical tasks of the job.
