The Department of Design and Construction, Operations Division seeks a Supervisor of the Operations Procurement unit. Under the direction of the Assistant Commissioner of Operations, the selected candidate will supervise three (3) employees, attend procurement meetings, oversee all small purchases with the Agency Chief Contracting Office (ACCO) in support of agency operations including the capital and expense eligible work and purchases. The candidate will collaborate with ACCO and the Office of Diversity and Industry Relations – M/WBE (ODIR) regarding M/WBE policies, procedures, and utilization goals. S/He will be responsible for reviewing receiving reports and monitoring payments on agency purchases. The candidate will manage all stockroom operations, which includes overseeing the ordering of all supplies, monitoring inventory, which includes agency PPE products. The candidate will generate and submit monthly procurement reports and monthly equipment (copier) downtime reports to senior managers. Oversee the leasing and maintenance contracts of the agency’s copiers. The supervisor of operations procurement will oversee, manage, and track Operations OTPS budget and work hand in hand with the Finance and Procurement's budget team on operations budget and spending needs. Knowledge of city agreements/ leases which includes building and equipment leases is required. FMS experience is required.

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on advanced Microsoft Excel Skill pertaining to Data entry and formatting, creating simple formulas, navigating the interface, managing worksheets, presenting data in basic charts, sorting, and filtering data, and performing basic calculations. Prior experience in working with FMS and Procure (City Internal Applications) or any other Procurement Applications that are comparable. Strong leadership skills that can help the team collaborate effectively. Excellent time management skills and have attention to detail. The ability to adapt to change and strategical think.
