The Staff Analyst Trainee's duties will include (but is not limited to) the following duties:
- Creating and administering ad-hoc and on-demand reports utilizing New York City human resources databases and systems such as CHRMS, PMS, PRISE, and NYCAPS, to collect and analyze data;
- Conducting moderately difficult and responsible operational studies;
- Performing research using quantitative analysis and other research techniques and preparing analytical reports;
- Preparing business process documents outlining various human resources processes;
- Ensuring compliance with all Federal, State and NYC personnel rules and regulations;
- Managing special human resources projects;
- Collecting and analyzing metrics for the Human Resources Division and preparing related reports.
