Reporting to the Quality Assurance MTCS Assistant Manager, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Analyze and interpret HUD data to ensure compliance with HUD policy on PHA performance indicators.
2. Evaluate criteria to identify potential error trends for Special Admission cases.
3. Perform research regarding error types to determine root cause of fatal errors.
4. Research data files to identify issues and error trends that require follow-up.
5. Utilize HUD’s data system and Internal management system to perform and manage submission of records.
6. Evaluate program objectives by using the OBIEE system to generate periodic reports related to transactions submitted monthly to ensure traceability of funding.
7. Provide information on program statistics and data on participant count.
8. Prepare visual products such as monthly reports and graphs that provides analysis on program participation under various subsidy types.
9. Analyze data integrity and correct cases that failed submission to the database using specialized knowledge and technique.
10. Compile data for quarterly reports to Executive level staff.
11. Other duties as assigned.

1. A master’s degree from an accredited college or university, accredited by regional, national, professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, accredited by regional, national, professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in one or a combination of the following areas: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; or in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; or in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation or fiscal management; or in a related area.
Special Note:
To be eligible for placement in Assignment Level II, individuals must have, after meeting the minimum requirements, one additional year of professional experience as described in "2" above.
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 2. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 3. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 4. Ability to present findings in clear, concise, consistent, and organized manner. 5. Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion, sensitivity, and professionalism. 6. Ability to manage time effectively, meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 7. Computer skills strong Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel and Word. Siebel knowledge preferred but not required.
