Under the direction of the Director of Application Services, with latitude for independent judgment, responsibilities for the Senior IT Architect will include, but are not limited to the following:

As Senior IT Solutions Architect, this individual will be responsible for ensuring implementation and compliance with Enterprise Architecture standards and solutions aligned with our Law Department's vision and long-term goal. This individual is required to provide well-designed, compliant, stable, and valuable highly productive IT systems to meet operational demands, limit disruptions, and have a high-security conscience. The Senior IT Solutions Architect needs to provide technology guidance, road maps, principles, and best practices standards, to deliver and maintain highly effective technology-based systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the assurance, compliance, and implementation of highly secure and robust integration to avoid any shortcomings, providing simplicity, agility, and customization only if necessary. Manage and provide strategies for project solutions, including highly complex scenarios using standard methodologies.

- Ability to deliver the best performance within deadlines and highly resourceful in problem-solving skills.

- Coordinate project solution and integration capabilities, and provide technical support for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and bug fixes of applications and network issue(s) in both on-premises and cloud solutions.

- Manage the development infrastructure, change control, configuration items, and application security.

- Must possess the ability to define and deliver the potential behavior, structure, and views of a system through a conceptual model and functional aspect of the overall system.

- Serve as subject matter expert for distributed applications, trends, and upgrades to ensure LAW s developers are up to date on newer technologies and serve as the escalation point for complex technical project issues.

- Facilitate, and execute proof of concepts and integration, by collaborating and leveraging the Power Platforms and DevOps. Identify/design potential solutions using these tools, and services, specifically Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamic 365, Power BI, and Azure-related processes.

- Manage and support existing solutions such as SharePoint 365, Dynamic CRM 2016/365, and custom .Net applications through troubleshooting, bug fixes and enhancements.

- Create web-oriented applications, and develop coding constructs, frameworks, components, and interfaces supported by the environment.

- Build capabilities to enable initiatives across channels (e.g., web, mobile, email, search, display, social) and drive enablers such as reporting, analytics, personalization, decisions, testing, etc.

- Responsible for mentoring our application development team and working with other teams to develop broader-scope enterprise-level project solutions.

- Create and document detailed designs of technology solutions based on users’ and technical requirements.

Preferred Experience required:

- At least (10) years of hands-on solution experience in systems lifecycle management and infrastructure designs and deployment, designing and developing intuitive, functional, interactive web interfaces.

- Strong development experience with Microsoft .NET and object-oriented programming, including Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, Web Forms & MVC, ADO.NET, SOAP / REST Web Services, HTML5, XSL, JavaScript/jQuery, and CSS.

- Experience with the Power platform applications, SharePoint 365, Dynamic CRM 365, and Cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure).

- Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to present technical findings in a clear and concise manner.

- Experience in relational database design and development, using Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services.

- Experience with team collaboration tools/source control applications, preferably Team Foundation Server/GitHub solution.

- After-hours and weekend support will be necessary as required.

- A bachelor’s degree in information architecture, information systems, computer science, or a related major is required.

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems; or

2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and ten years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems; or

3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
