The New York City Housing Authority is seeking a Principle Administrative Associate, L1 for the Resident Relocations Services Department to support relocation of NYCHA residents at developments where planned major modernization or unplanned urgent repairs are required including repairs to address health and safety issues.
Reporting to the Director of the Resident Relocations Services Department, the PAA will be responsible for the following:
1. Assist in pre-screening, conducting in-person and over the phone move assessments and coordinate the relocation plan for NYCHA residents.
2. Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stake-holders to ensure residents relocate seamlessly.
3. Managing and performing timely intake processes
4. Participating in tenant community meetings and handling correspondence at NYCHA events
5. Responsible for the preparation and submission of monthly statistical reports
6. Perform administrative and clerical support functions, including timekeeping, Smart-Data facilitation (receiving and approving) for the Department.
7. Monitor departmental inbox to ensure timely responses to inquiries and request for relocation services.
8. Support the RRSD senior management team as needed.

PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOC - 10124
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or
2. An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience including one year of the administrative supervisory experience described in "1" above; or
3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and five years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience including one year of the administrative supervisory experience as described in "1" above;
4. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above. However, all candidates must possess the one year of administrative or supervisory experience as described in "1" above. Education above the high school level may be substituted for the general clerical/administrative experience (but not for the one year of administrative or supervisory experience described in "1" above) at a rate of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for 6 months of experience up to a maximum of 3½ years.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and deal with complex issues. - Experience in engaging a wide variety of stakeholders, like NYCHA managers, frontline staff, and customers. - Excellent conceptual, organizational, and analytical skills - Knowledge of Procurement. - Kronos Timekeeping - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office systems and experience with Oracle applications Siebel and AS400
