Customized Assistance Services’ Office of Business Strategies & Solutions (CAS/OBSS) is responsible for the design and re-engineering of CAS operational processes and the development of automated systems. CAS currently has a total of six custom-built automated systems that are medical record and case tracking systems to support its program areas. The Unit performs system design, testing, training and implementation activities. It collaborates with HRA’s centralized Management Information Systems department which programs and supports the systems
CAS/Office of Business Strategies and Solutions is recruiting for one (1) IT Project Specialist to function as a Project Manager who will.
- Manage multiple workstreams to develop and enhance CAS’s automated systems
- Lead project status meetings with business stakeholders and develop project plans;
- Follow through the active sprint to ensure timely deliverables from each workstream accordingly to the project plan.
- Perform continuous integration, version control, testing, and document management using tools such as Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Smart Sheets, and SharePoint Server;
- Oversee the system product backlog, including leading joint application development sessions with programmatic managers and staff and other internal and external agency staff that impact business processes.
- Direct the preparation of business requirement documents;
- Attend meetings with State and City Agencies, community-based providers, vendors, and HRA program areas to develop system interfaces and design system components that address the program requirements of all stakeholders;
- Manage the change request process, and facilitates discussions with users and management regarding the prioritization of change requests
- Apply a deep understanding of IT policies, infrastructure, technology stack and support processes and uses the experience and resources in systems.
- Oversee implementation and training plans.
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
2. An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
3. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; or
4. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above.
