Major Responsibilities
- Under general direction, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, perform responsible work in the supervision, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of programs.
- Prepare charts, graphs and reports on various subjects including fleet metrics, signs, fuel and small equipment.
- Help maintain databases within applications, such as FleetFocus (M5), Zipcar, Geotab, E-Z Pass, and ChargePoint. Conduct research and provides interpretation of findings to aid in solving complex problems. Prepare evaluation reports, perform analyses and review expense invoices. Draft policies and procedure for the program and make recommendations for future changes.
- Assist with projects that include, but are not limited to, Vision Zero initiatives, Fleet Sustainability Fleet Sharing and audit requests.
- Prepare paperwork, process requests, coordinate release and distribution of vehicles and equipment. Update databases and generate utilization reports. Plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and/or evaluate Fleet projects and initiatives. Prepare evaluations of current processes and procedures. Provide technical assistance and training to staff on Fleet Focus.
- Initiate, coordinate and prepare presentations for meetings and conferences with Parks’ staff, Agency heads and community organizations.
- Manage schedules for Fleet Executive staff, process and route correspondence to the appropriate staff, type and distribute memoranda and proofread for accuracy.
- Analyze procedures and propose changes.
- Serve as a liaison to other divisions, city agencies and organizations.

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
1. One year of supervisory experience. 2. Excellent administrative, organizational, supervisory and communication skills. 3. Familiarity with agency operations. 4. Ability to maintain databases and generate metrics and performance reports. 5. Proficiency in Infor EAM and/or other Information Asset Management Systems, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 6. Ability to conduct quantitative and cost analysis. 7. Valid New York State driver license.
