Major Responsibilities
- Under supervision, with latitude for independent judgment and initiative, be responsible for the administrative, distribution and logistics of the borough Maintenance and Operations (M&O) storehouses.
- Execute all transactional movements of inventory into and out of the facility in the Asset Management Parks System (AMPS) inventory module accurately and promptly. This includes inputting the receipt of goods through Vendor Receipts, approving district and work order requisitions for supplies, physically pulling district orders from the storehouse, recording the issuance of materials to the districts and recording the receipt of supplies by the requisitioning party.
- Prepare the necessary Receiving Reports for borough Purchasing through established protocols and procedures.
- Work with borough Purchasing, vendors and carriers in establishing the schedule for deliveries and district pickups that maximizes storehouse operations and minimizes interruption of other divisions business.
- Run inventory reports and conduct daily cycle counts of inventory parts based upon an A, B, C methodology. Adjust AMPS inventory modules when necessary. Identify, verify and maintain variance reports accordingly.
- Analyze and assess supply usage and available stock on hand to proactively inform Management of supply needs. Proactively identify trends, strategize with borough purchasing staff and communicate with districts and trades.
- Maintain logs of aged, excess and obsolete inventory for analysis and decision-making.
- Liaise with the borough, Workforce Development, and IT on any trade, cleaning, security, computer and staffing needs.
- Organize and maintain a filing system for storehouse documentation.
- Carry out special projects as directed by the storehouse supervisor. Work with the storehouse supervisor and Chief of Supply Chain on AMPS reports, facility improvements, training and other storehouse initiatives and security policies.
- As part of the Storehouse team, ensure that all storehouse goods are safe and secure.

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
