The Resource Management Unit manages the division’s $300 million capital budget, $261 million expense budget, the City’s largest Inter-Fund Agreement (IFA) program, and reports on a wide range of operational statistics and performance indicators. The Procurement Manager will report directly to the Director of Resource Management and will be responsible for overseeing all procurement and contract activities across the division, including but not limited to Milling, Debris Disposal, Quality Control, and New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) Requirements Contracts. The Procurement Manager will work closely with other units within DOT, including the Budget Unit, Legal Affairs and Agency Chief Contracting Officer’s (ACCO) Unit. In addition, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing various revenue reports and their related activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in procurement, budgeting, or contract administration to contribute to the critical work of keeping New York City’s streets safe and well-maintained.
