Job Description

Runs queries and produces (ad hoc and standard) reports using the HR database, CHRMS, Access and Excel for agency s data audit andanalysis. Runs quarterly EEO data reports; agency s requested reports for special programs; division reports; and union member reports.Conducts monthly data audit between the agency s HR database and the Citywide database, ensuring that the data is the same. InformsHR Generalist for investigation and correction when there are discrepancies. Responsible for the implementation and auditing of massemployee updates in the HR database, i.e. collective bargaining, and Mayor s Personnel Order increases. Liaise with the InformationTechnology Division when any upgrades are needed to HR database and the agency s electronic forms system (eforms). Responsible fordata integrity in the HR database. Ensures the Reporting Relationship for employees are correct in the HR database, this is essential for thecorrect electronic routing of eforms and employee evaluations. Key liaison with the development of procedures, overseeing testing, as wellas documenting issues, in a production environment for all upgrades. Key liaison in coordinating meetings with management, vendors andthe IT Division for all projects relating to the HR database.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of satisfactory full-time experience, in mainframe computer, mid-range computer, LAN or WAN computer environments and or local desktop support; or"
2. An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college or university and three years of satisfactory, full-time experience as described in "1" above; or
3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of satisfactory, full-time experience, as described in "1" above; or
4. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above. Undergraduate college credit can be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits, from an accredited college or university, for six months of experience. However, all candidates must have at least a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and two years of satisfactory full-time experience, as described in "1" above.
