ANALYST***
Serve as Office Manager and provide administrative and analytical support to the Director and Deputy Direct of Bronx Street Maintenance. Investigate and resolve personnel, timekeeping (city time), and payroll related issues. Oversee the coordination of mandatory and non-mandatory training. Oversee the performance of timely and accurate responses to 311 Siebel issues, researching claim and closing complaints. Oversee the review of request and issuance of Permits for protected streets. Oversee PavementWorks data entry and retrieval and preparation of related reports. Oversee the performance of timely and accurate responses to ARTS (correspondence customer service and borough offices). Oversee research and preparation of responses to FOIL requests and inquiries from the Comptroller's Office. Interface with NYCDOT Litigation to coordinate EBTs (Examination Before Trials) and trial preps. Collections of crew sheets and the compiling of data for costing summaries for IFA/Capital activities and Special Non-IFA activities. Participate in special projects and efforts to improve the Units efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee the maintenance of Milling & Resurfacing log. Oversee roster reconciliation and transfer request. Assist to a limited degree with disciplinary activity. Maintain absence control calendars for office staff; oversee the maintenance of absence control calendars for field staff, ensure that sanction status situations are handled accordingly. Draft and modify performance evaluation for special situations as requested. Monitor the completion and submission of periodic performance evaluation for all unit members. Oversee the monitoring of office supplies, forms, and equipment inventory and distribution; prepare receiving reports and purchase orders, report damage to facility or potential safety hazards. Oversee maintenance of Personnel files, encourage updates of emergency contact forms. Prepare leave requests, incidents reports, reports of injury and Workers' Compensation forms for completion, proper documentation and discrepancies prior to forwarding to RRM Administration.

Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
1. A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or in a related area. 18 months of this experience must have been in an executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory capacity. Supervision must have included supervising staff performing professional work in the areas described above; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of professional experience in the areas described in "1" above, including the 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory experience, as described in "1" above.
