Reporting directly to the Director of Quality Assurance, the Manager, under general direction with wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment, will perform very responsible work in the planning, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, and making recommendations for the benefit of NYCHA residential and workplace communities.

Specific tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

- Coordinate timely and accurate submission related documents (i.e. leave of absence, time sheets etc.).
- Plan, coordinate, monitor, and/or evaluate programs that provide important community service and community centered activities throughout the Agency.
- Conduct in-person and/or telephone interviews with employees and residents on how to improve customer service and simplify processes while achieving compliance with standard procedures.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with any other necessary NYCHA departments, resident leaders and NYCHA developments to obtain program, process, and procedural information to improve
the lives of residents and employees.
- Perform special projects, ad-hoc analysis, and program development, and prepare relevant reports and presentations as assigned.
- Recommend and implement policies and procedures regarding community services and employee productivity.
- Create, track, and maintain comprehensive reports; analyze and prepare reports for department.
- Coordinate with NYCHA departments, developments, resident leaders, and residents to schedule and monitor all Quality Assurance complaints until complete resolution.
- Assist with creating and maintaining QA Inspectors weekly inspection schedules.
- Create spreadsheets in Excel, and pivot tables from Maximo.
- Track inventory, purchase supplies and monitor the department’s budget.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.


Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of field operations. - Able to communicate and conduct meetings take notes and provide feedback to leadership team. - Ability to handle multiple assignments, meet deadlines and work independently. - Expertise with Oracle, Maximo, Siebel and Movaris programs. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Capability in problem solving and decision making.
