Job Description

- Manage and perform timely intake processes on referrals including completion of the referral/intake form, including household details.
- Build on and provide excellent customer service to NYCHA families and 3rd Party Vendors.
- Provide assistance in tracking enrollment and supervising timelines by using NYCHA’s procedures, completing various reports and forms, drafting mails and letters as well and possibly resource
materials to the residents/families.
- Create and maintain database for internal staff.
- Participate in team meetings, handling correspondence, sharing meeting responsibilities, and assisting with the collaboration of professional learning and professional development.
- Request details from outside agencies for assisting the resident and/or families.
- Represent NYCHA at external resident, community, and citywide events.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work listed above.

Qualification Requirements
1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
1. Preferably some college courses high school diploma. 2. Experience in intake or office administration. 3. Good organizational and time-management skills. 4. Proficient computer literacy. 5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 6. Great communication skills/ Strong verbal and written communication skills 7. Strong affinity for customer service. 8. Experience with MS Office Access, Excel and Word. 9. Bilingual. 10. Knowledge of virtual programs e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams and others.
