Job Description

This vacancy has now expired.

- Oversee the stock worker Level I.
- Ensure that all paperwork is correctly processed.
- Accept delivered packages and ensure proper amount is inside.
- Unload merchandise.
- Mark items with identifying codes, ensuring label is clear and visible.
- Stock shelves with unpacked items.
- Operate machinery for moving stock items.
- Confirm all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all inventory is in excellent condition.
- Receive, count, and verify incoming orders Inspects new stock for damages or defects.
- Label stock items with labeling equipment such as identification tags or stamps.
- Pack and unpack items for storage in the warehouses.
- Confirm said Pick Pack list in Oracle.
- Report malfunctioning or damaged stock-handling equipment to Supervision.
- Keep the stock room neat and orderly.
- Inventory stock of materials, supplies, parts, and merchandise.
- Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies to help maintain an adequate inventory in the SCO warehouse.
- Ensure that merchandise is stored in an orderly manner and is easily accessible when store shelves need to be replenished.
- Ensure that work areas are cleaned and cleared from any Clutter and be safe to work.

NOTE: Due to the existence of a civil service list, candidates must have civil service status in the title of Housing Stock Worker to apply.
