Job Description
The Office of Queens Borough President (QBPO) seeks a dynamic, motivated individual to join the Communications Unit as a part-time Graphic Designer/Digital Manager. The Graphic Designer/Digital Manager will play a key role in shaping the QBPO initiatives’ messaging and disseminating information to 2.4 million+ Queens residents.
Responsibilities:
- Create event graphics including flyers and eblasts while following the brand guidelines
Assist in developing QBPO digital strategy
- Assist in the management of QBPO social media channels
- Create content for social media platforms and website, including but not limited to: graphics for respective platforms, digital campaigns
-. Work with QBPO communications team to ensure consistency in messaging
Participates in a community development program.
Provides and improves community services by performing liaison functions and improving communication between City agencies, community
organizations and groups, and the individuals they represent and service.

Qualification Requirements
1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
