The Executive Director of Technology Delivery (TDO) leads the office responsible for planning the successful implementation of technology initiatives across the organization. The Executive Director will partner closely with the Technology, Operations and Executive Teams to create delivery standards, optimize processes and drive predicable outcomes. The Executive Director will:
- Oversee the full life cycle of technology projects- from intake to transition to operations;
- Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to assess proposed technology initiatives, set priorities, and establish cross-functional working groups;
- Manage multiple project teams simultaneously, ensuring coordination and alignment across all team members;
- Drive successful project execution by tracking timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics;
- Partner with operations and business leaders to capture business needs and requirements, ensuring clear communication and strong alignment;
- Possess the ability to simplify the technically complex projects and drive well-educated decisions across business owners;
- Develop roadmaps, executive dashboards and delivery playbooks;
- Demonstrate capability to simplify complex technical initiatives and enable well-informed decisions across business owners/ stakeholders.
Executive Program Specialist - 06942
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three years full- time satisfactory professional experience related to the projects and policies to be studied in the particular position, including eighteen months of experience in a managerial, consultative, administrative or supervisory capacity.
2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to “1” above; however, all candidates must possess eighteen months of experience in a managerial, consultative, administrative or supervisory capacity as described above.
Prefer candidates with an advanced technology degree and ten (10) or more years of full-time experience working in business consulting, project or programs management, or a similar role. Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-workstream technology implementations is strongly preferred.
