In addition, establishes business processes that are guided by and use “best practices” to improve the efficient and predictable review of proposals, through all aspects of preliminary and public review.
- Supervises the Calendar Office, Commission Operations, Central Intake, ZAP Support and Pipeline functions within team.
- Responsible for hiring, training, assigning, supervising and evaluating the work of staff within the Pipeline and Commissions Operations team.

- In concert with the Deputy Director of Pipeline and Commission Operations, plans and conducts the bi-monthly Review Sessions of the City Planning Commission.
- Assures that agency staff are familiar with all aspects of their projects as well as with overall city policy. Ensures that staff provides required follow-up work on projects as required by the Chairperson.
- Supports, as necessary, Land Use Academy and New Hire Orientation classes.
