- Leading a team of engineers that enhance and support the IT systems used to regulate the City's Taxi industry.
- Take an active role in architecting and implementing both custom and CRM applications to meet agency needs.
- Deliver solutions that comply with the City’s cybersecurity policies as defined by OTI Cyber Command.
- Ensure knowledge is documented, updated, and distributed within the team.
- Coordinate with product owners and project managers to ensure solutions are delivered in a timely manner and of the highest quality.
Preferred Skills
• 7-years’ experience managing DevOps engineering teams.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, communication, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
• 7 years’ experience implementing CI/CD pipeline and version control tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• 7 years of hands-on experience with:
o .NET web application and WCF development.
o MSSQL, SSIS, and similar database tools.
• 5 years of hands-on experience architecting, developing, and deploying solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• 5 years of hands-on development experience with HTML, JavaScript & CSS.
• Experience with SAST and DAST security tools such as Veracode and SonarQube.
• Experience with customizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with designing data models for relational and NoSQL databases.
• Awareness of critical concepts in Agile values and principles.
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position; or,
2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
- 7 years experience managing DevOps engineering teams. - Strong leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset. - 7 years experience implementing CI/CD automation and version control tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, and Git. - 7 years of hands-on experience with .NET web application and WCF development. - 7 years of hands-on experience with SSQL, SSIS, and similar database tools. - 5 years of hands-on experience delivering solutions built on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. - 5 years of hands-on development experience with HTML, JavaScript & CSS. - Experience with SAST and DAST security tools such as Veracode and SonarQube. - Awareness of critical concepts in Agile values and principles. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Operational experience in supporting business critical applications. - Experience in customizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics. - Experience with unit testing. - A strong understanding of the “Shift Left Security” approach as applied to the SDLC. - Experience with delivering responsive websites that are WCAG 2+ compliant. - Understanding of normalized and de-normalized data models in context of relational and noSQL databases.
