Under direct supervision of the Assistant Director, with some latitude for independent initiative and judgment, the selected candidate responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following
1. Assist in performing clerical & office tasks such as filing, keeping records, and typing for public housing residents and Section 8 tenants; may answer telephones, make referrals, take messages, and assist the Assistant Director
2. May assist with incoming and outgoing Print Shop requests, including ad hoc requests for community events and celebrations at various NYCHA developments
3. Receive training and assist in printing programs, flyers, posters, and booklets for all NYCHA developments and departments for community–related events and knowledge
4. Assist department secretary in daily/weekly scheduling of chauffeur request.
5. Meter incoming mail (add postage) from various departments and developments.
