The Information and Technology Division (ITSD) supports the Department by acquiring, distributing, installing and maintaining Local Area Networks, personal computers, software, and data communications networks. ITSD also plans and coordinates the implementation of advanced technology.
Performs clerical work in relation to records, files and reports using alphabetical and numerical procedures
Check records for accuracy of information and edits information in computer systems to update records
Performs moderately difficult and responsible clerical work in maintaining and checking various records
Data entry using automated office systems
Receive, sort, and screen mail from correspondence
Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
- Ability to perform clerical functions efficiently and accurately - Ability to carry out assigned tasks decisively and accurately and work effectively. - The position requires close attention to detail and organization skills and strong computer skills to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
