The Department's Chaplains Unit seeks the services of a part-time Hindu Department Chaplain.

The Hindu Department Chaplain is needed to assist members of the NYPD who identify with the Hindu faith. There has been an increasing need for a Hindu chaplain to attend to the needs of and provide spiritual assistance and moral guidance for members of service.

Ecclesiastical endorsement by the official endorsing agency of the candidate's faith or denomination, and by the Committee on Chaplaincies.
