The Law Department is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Executive Division to perform both counseling and litigation functions in relation to matters with potentially significant revenue or other programmatic implications for the City of New York and its related entities.
ASSISTANT CORPORATION COUNSEL - 30112
The minimum qualifications are five years of legal experience following graduation from an ABA accredited law school and NY Bar status in Good Standing.
The ideal applicants will possess excellent legal writing and analysis skills, as well as the ability to communicate legal positions to clients and others effectively, in both litigation and non-litigation contexts. Previous experience with respect to complex or challenging litigation, and/or with respect to a broad range of legal issues is preferred.
