The New York City Law Department Family Court Division’s Interstate Child Support Unit is seeking a qualified attorney to serve as an Assistant Corporation Counsel.
Job Description
- Maintain a caseload of Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA) cases.
- Negotiate complex settlement of child support cases with opposing counsel.
- Provide support professional staff with legal and technical assistance on out-going UIFSA cases.
- Participate in community outreach event and training events.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must be admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar and have knowledge of child support law and litigation experience. Candidates must also possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication and leadership skills.
