DCAS is looking to hire a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Lead / Solution Architect. In this role, you will lead a team of developers and collaborate closely with Line of Service IT Business Support Directors to design and implement user-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, contribute to strategic decision-making, and actively participate in the development process. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of application developers.
- Collaborate with IT Business Support Directors to design and implement user-centric solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to the development team.
- Gather technical requirements and formulate appropriate architectures for system functionality.
- Translate software architecture into design and actively participate in the development process.
- Act as the primary escalation contact and be on call for application/production support issues.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience: 10+ years of IT work experience, with at least 5 years managing teams of 5-10 developers and successfully implementing large-scale projects leveraging (.net) Microsoft
technologies.
- Technology Stacks: Proficient in Angular, Microsoft technologies, and other relevant technology stacks.
- Database Design: Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL and database design.
- Cloud Solutions: Experience managing and integrating Cloud Solutions.
- Identity Management: Familiarity with identity management using OAuth2.
- Good to Have: Experience with MS Dynamics 365.

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering or a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to datacenter engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, complex IT infrastructure engineering; or,

2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to datacenter engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, complex IT infrastructure engineering; or,

3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above.

- Azure certifications such as AZ-303 and AZ-304 or AZ-305 and/or DP-300 are a plus - Strong understanding of Azure Container solutions like Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Container Registry - PMP certification and experience creating and managing detailed project plans - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture and design - Experience with implementing Azure SQL Database - Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models - Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Databases, Virtual Networks, and App Services - Proficiency in cloud automation tools and scripting languages, such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI - Experience with Azure DevOps, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment - Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including Azure Security Center and Network Security Groups - Strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a team environment - Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
